About OpenSocial Workshop

Web 2.0 and better social collaboration platforms have dramatically changed the landscape of web applications. Moving out of the consumer space, businesses are now realizing the need to pull these disparate systems together, but not in the form of portals and dashboard, but enabling social collaboration. This session will set the stage for what the next generation of middleware is looking to deliver, present an overview of the open source projects, and show how they are being used across multiple commercial vendors like IBM, Jive Software, and others.
