Part One: Success Stories from NGI EU Funding
NGI Search Open Call #5 is now closed. However, OW2 is presently offering more opportunities to finance your open source project or digital commons innovation, based on the following NGI Initiative European cascade funding: NGI Zero Commons Fund
NGI Zero supports strategic technology R&D, in the development of free/libre/open source software and hardware, and the establishment of open standards and open data - technologies that can be used, studied, modified and shared by anyone for any purpose. Through five programmes a total of 50+ million Euros is being granted to hundreds of independent researchers and open source developers working on a better internet.

This meeting offers NGI Zero and NGI Search beneficiairies to showcase their outcomes or work in progress, then a free discussion to explore new collaboration opportunities.

What does it take to build a sustainable, impactful, and collaborative open-source ecosystem in Europe?
The NGI Innovators Meetup Workshop will bring together NGI-funded innovators, along with open-source experts, post-growth thinkers, developers, and community builders to dive deeper into five strategic areas: open-source post-growth, accessing markets and achieving market fit, empowering developer communities, and effectively engaging with EU policymaking.
Join an insightful and interactive panel.
This session blends sharp insight with hands-on co-creation. Guided by experts in each different topic, attendees will actively participate through live polls, moderated discussions, micro-surveys, breakout collaboration, and sticky-note idea boards.
