Collabora Online: Secure Document Collaboration, Controlled by You

OW2 states as an organisation it is “dedicated to the creation of new technology” and seeks to “foster a vibrant community and business ecosystem”. At Collabora Productivity, this mission resonates strongly with our values. For more than a decade, we have been committed to developing and bringing new Open Source technology into the document editing space, both for individual users in the Open Source community, and large organisations requiring fully-supported software. This year we are particularly excited to be able to support the OW2con as gold sponsors.

What is Collabora Online?

Collabora Online is a powerful online office suite with collaborative editing, supports all major document, spreadsheet and presentation file formats and is built upon the underlying LibreOffice Technology. Collabora Online is ideal for organisations that want to collaborate on documents without losing control or compromising on privacy, bringing long-term, multi-platform support, making it suitable for large-scale deployments. You can integrate it into your own infrastructure or access it via one of our trusted hosting partners across the globe.

We provide Collabora Online for browser, Collabora Office for desktop and Collabora Office for iOS and Android devices.

Try CODE at Home

CODE is the unsupported development version of our enterprise-ready office suite, Collabora Online, and is excellent for home use or small teams but is not recommended for production environments. CODE builds contain the latest new features and are released on average once a month.

You can download and test CODE for free, or try out the online demo.

Community & LibreOffice Codebase

Collabora Productivity is privileged to be the largest contributor of commits to the LibreOffice codebase, and working alongside, supporting and mentoring a huge community team of others around the code-base. We regularly attend community conferences (such as OW2Con), and invest in the governance and success of LibreOffice.

Contributing to the LibreOffice codebase and community remains one of our top priorities; all our code is Open Source and accessible on GitHub.

Our Partners

We love to partner with complementary businesses where we can work together to whole-heartedly build and support each other’s success in the marketplace. We currently collaborate with more than 230 partners offering professional support in over 60 countries - this means that wherever you are in the world, we have a partner suited to your document editing needs.

If you’d like to take back control of your documents, why not try our free unsupported release, or get in contact with us for more information and pricing about the fully-supported Collabora Online.
