Abstract:
Now that "open source has won", users and software developers must have a strategy to integrate open source software in their processes. But deciding on an open source software or component can be tricky, specially for organisations new to open source. This breakout session is a unique occasion to discover specialized decision support tools and best practices to assess open source software. The session will give the priority to product demonstrations and practical discussions.

The session is addressed to CTOs and CIOs, architects, project managers and developers involved in selecting open source software products and components.
