Open Source Governance

Abstract
The Breakout session Open Source Governance has the aim to bring together many organizations and several areas of expertises from the large domain of "Open Source Governance". This OW2con'23 parallel workshop is supported and coordinated by the OSPO Alliance where OW2 is contributing as member. It will explain to attendees why it is more and more necessary to manage in a professional way the usage, the contribution to and the publication of open source software and how to reach this objective. The workshop program includes a presentation of various organizations involved in supporting OSPOs (Open Source Program Offices) followed by the introduction of governance tools through presentations and hands-on.
